............ROCKOLA 1428
We bought this from a show in Birmingham. It just fitted into the back of our Vauxhall Frontera & looked like Tuts sarchophagus in the boot!!
It was a risky project that would cost a lot of money. It was mechanical & had valves in the back. My job was to find local engineering companies, electricians, chrome restorers, artists etc who would be able to do what we wanted...............................

The chromework was redone by London Chroming, OLd Kent Road, London, who specialise in doing the chrome on old american cars, and motorbikes. We bought new green glass sideplates, from Victory Glass in America, who stock old jukebox parts & also faithfully make replica parts, if needed. The motors were rewound by a local electrical company, but a lot of it was hard graft, washing, parts with soapy water, getting it all clean, understanding the plans etc etc. A friend, who specialises in 40’s machines gave a lot of advice and help on the restoration.
